Responsible for leading the Scency sales organization operations and sales process improvements, to enhance revenue and market share growth by managing vendor relationships and incentive programs. Support and work with senior management, sales leadership and representatives, marketing, market research, and other functional areas as required. Reports to Senior Director National Sales.
Contract negotiation and amendments
Creation of SOWs
Work with CSO IT Group on collaborative solutions
Proven ability to work with vendors to plan and execute successful national, regional and district sales meetings.
Incentive Compensation Design
Assist Senior Director National Sales in the design and financial modeling of sales force incentive compensation programs and contests
Establish and maintain sales quotas
Customer Targeting and Territory design
Demonstrated ability to work with outside vendors to optimize sales force effectiveness as it relates to customers called on.
Assist in the design of POA in conjunction with the Marketing Department
Manage multiple projects and effectively balance priorities
Be point person to work with outside vendors for sales organization
Maintain sales department policies
Travel to sales territories and meetings as required
Support sales organization by identification of operational and strategic needs.
Bachelor’s degree (in math or science preferred)/M.B.A. preferred.
Five+ years in sales/sales operations in a pharmaceutical environment
Recent experience in the Cardiovascular/Metabolic market a plus
In depth understanding of salesforce.com and Veeva
Demonstrated skills in business planning, sales analytics, and math
Ability to gather and manage a variety of data and to compile into comprehensive and functional reports
Strong leadership and teamwork skills
Proactive, high attention to detail and strong sense of urgency
Proven ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities simultaneously
Demonstrated skills working cross functionally
